@TribeSteemUp's Take on The 4th of July

  1. The 4th of July (which is the wrong date) is a celebration of the Declaration of Independence, which was about separating from The Crown, Inc., and had nothing to do with the creation of The United States, Inc.
  2. Countries, or States, are simply areas of land that a particular organized crime syndicate has laid claim to and uses violence & the threat of violence to control. There is no greatest country, unless you mean "most violent", "most profitable", "longest running", or something like that.
  3. The idea that the American People (whoever that is) freed themselves from Statism is pretty laughable when you look at the what happened immediately after (like using The Constitution instead of the Articles of Confederation, the Alien & Sedition Acts of 1798, etc.), the results over the next centuries (almost never-ending war, multiple genocides, usury & debt-based monetary system, more laws on the books than any government ever)...
  4. There's nothing conservative about the number of animals killed for one day's "BBQ", the excessive alcohol consumption of millions, intoxicated people lighting off small explosives all over the place, "parades" (don't even get me started on those things)... Doesn't seem like a celebration of much more than idiotic self-destructive, violent tendencies.
