Balneology: the study of bathing in water; Recrystallization of alkali mineral salts collected from a secret hot spring

@alchemage

Hot springs have been regarded as sacred healing grounds by cultures across the globe throughout the ages.
Entire bath houses have been erected around hot springs to allow for people to enjoy the benefits of the springs with modern comforts of the time. This concept is so deeply ingrained in our experience here that empirical science has decided to start an entirely new field of study: balneology, the study of bathing (usually in water with minerals).¹ While balneology is still a relatively new field of study, there are promising results emerging from its depths.

Earthship Biotecture Transcribed: Seminar With Michael Reynolds: Part 3

@eco-alex

This is part 3 of a transcribed and edited Biotecture lecture by Michael Reynolds. If you want to understand why Earthship Biotecture offers the best solution to so many of our global issues then this is for you, explained so beautifully by Michael Reynolds and with my own highlighting, images, and this week some commentary!
This third part of the series is one of the MUST READ because it covers some of the most interesting concepts and ideas about Biotecture. It also explains why an Earthship is the only building model that can start off with a negative carbon footprint, and even maintain one throughout its indefinite life. We also cover the Phoenix Earthship, which was built as an experiment to see if a family of 4 could live in an Earthship 100% self sufficient for everything including food (and even fish!).

Yoga, Rave Culture, Psychedelics, Conscious Dance - Aubrey Warren on INNERVERSE

@innerverse

This week we're joined by Maven of Ravin' and workshop coordinator for Backwoods Music Festival, Aubrey Monk Warren for a chat about bringing the magic of music festivals home to the "real world" so that we can transform our universe from the inside out. We chat about conscious dance, the truth about entheogenic substances, and of course preview the amazing variety of things that Backwoods Music Festival on Mulberry Mountain has to offer its attendees this year.

Natural Building: Choosing A Site for Our Passive Solar Straw Bale Home!

@mountainjewel

The major project this year has in store for us is building a passive solar post and beam straw bale home.
Today we are laying out the footprint, an exciting step towards getting our house built!
We're been sitting with this decision for years now, "Where will we build our house?"
We have long considered this area the site of our primary forest garden and main living space due to rich soil, gently sloping topography, proximity to the creek, prime views and prime solar gain potential.

Using the medicine wheel to teach about a balanced and centered life

@wwf

I returned last night to our home fire. For the past two months we worked hard to plan for this Spiritual Sovereignty retreat that we completed this weekend. We had a beautiful group of some of the most brave spiritual beings as they all attended, played 'all in' and did spectacular work. The facilitation team did brilliant work leading up to this retreat and nailed it in the delivery of the concepts and ideas that we all worked so hard to share.
Sunday morning I received a profound download from Spirit and I decided to use it during one of the segments that I was facilitating on Sunday. I will do my best to share what happened.

NYC Forces MMR Vaccination in Brooklyn Due To 'Measles Outbreak' Under Threat of Fine & Imprisonment!

@ura-soul

It was only a matter of time in the alleged 'land of the free'.. Fear tactics are being used to force people to accept medical industry products into their body against their will.Despite a significant amount of scientific evidence being published (and heavily denied) in recent years (as I covered in my recent post) to show that ingredients in vaccines are highly likely to be causal or partially causal in the huge increases in cases of autism the world is seeing - those suffering with politically induced mental illness continue to push to deny the free will of humanity.

3rd Eye Manifesting and Creating Through Visualization

@bryandivisions

In this video, I discuss how 3rd eye manifesting and creating can be accomplished through the process of visualization. When we focus on the exact details of what we want in our lives, we bring our intended experience into our present moment and rewire our subconscious.
This allows us to take new intuitive actions in a more inspired and fulfilling way.

The Other Side of Aries Energy -- When Aries energy goes wrong

@enchantedspirit

When it's good ... it's great!
So, a few days ago I wrote about how to use your Aries energy wisely -- to get things done, to shake things up, to have an impact on the world. We all have this potential. We all have Aries energy somewhere in our character. We all make use of it to one degree or another.
Some people do this frequently -- and are pretty upfront and open about it. Some people use it in ways that are fairly subtle and quiet. Still others have trouble coming to grips with it at all.
Just as any energy can be used for the purpose designed, it can also be repressed. It can become twisted -- and toxic. And when that happens, it puts out a lot of signals that something is wrong -- and needs attention -- and needs to be set right.

STRAW BALE COLD FRAME UPDATE

@papa-pepper

Another experiment, more experience gained, and another lesson learned.
Some months back I built my first cold frame ever out of some straw bales and a sheet of glass. It was an experiment, and I think that it went rather well. With the fluctuating temperatures all winter long where it varied between 30 and 80 degrees, I wasn't able to vent it every time that it got too hot...
For that reason my Canton Bok and Pak Choy bolted, but the Cilantro, Dwarf Siberian Kale, and Greyhound Cabbage did rather well. I've learned a few things, grew a few things, and now have a story to tell. Enjoy the video!

The bewitching perfection of cause and effect

@alexaventuria

When we try to think ourselves into a perpetrator’s psyche as to what has prompted the commitment of a heinous crime, sooner or later nearly all conclusions lead to a stalemate in form of insufficient explanations such as “critical mental disorders” or “weak intellect”, all of which are, technically speaking, merely further "effects" in the person’s history but never delve into the real “root cause” of the act. Yet the “cause” is the elemental variable that needs contemplation.
The main reason why the real root cause is almost always swept under the table lies in the fact that reflecting on the root cause necessitates challenging ourselves, a thing almost impossible for Souls experiencing inner Separation since the Ego’s natural propensity is to leave others holding the baby.

Young Man Fills Potholes And Receives Cannabis, Coffee, Cash From Grateful Locals

@johnvibes

Last month, 22-year-old John McCue took it upon himself to start filling potholes and repairing roads in his local town of Stellarton, in Canada.
McCue doesn’t even drive, but decided to help out his local community anyway.
“I just noticed it the other day. I don’t drive, but it seemed kind of annoying. I’m not doing anything right now, so I came out here to do this,” McCue told The Chronicle Harold.
“There was one story a couple of weeks ago where a car was driving through, and it nailed one of the biggest potholes here, and it ripped the axle right off the car,” he told CBC.
To fill the holes, McCue uses a shovel to take gravel from the side of the road and patches the spaces that need to be repaired.

The Free Market Is An Orchestra That Doesn't Need A Conductor

@doitvoluntarily

The free market allows every individual to pursue their own self-interest, to express their own creativity, compassion, and love, in an effort to serve others and contribute to their community.
To be alive and have the opportunity to exchange with other individuals, in a peaceful manner without the use of coercion, is truly a blessing and something to be thankful for. Though we might not have an entirely free market today, we can still see how this method of peaceful exchange has helped to improve and uplift the lives for millions of people, despite the restrictions and violence that they have had to bypass in order to make it so.

Canyon of The Ancients Finale || Chaco Canyon, New Mexico USA

@eaglespirit

During the night sky in the ancient world a person may see a side of their soul that can only Be revealed in a place like Chaco Canyon, USA.
Welcome to the final blog in a series of events that brought me to Chaco Canyon in the summer of 2018. If you have followed my journey to find my Ancestors, then you may be wondering what I found while visiting my last stop in the Canyon of the Ancients. Chaco Canyon is called The Center of the Ancient World, that title alone may bring excitement.
However, the long dusty road while driving into Chaco Canyon was not as exciting. The reality exists that the lands are located on Navajo lands and oil drilling as well as run down homes are scattered throughout the drive into the canyon. It goes without saying that seeing this was a bit disheartening and brought a feeling of lands under the control of others and not those of my people.

Initiation into Dream Alchemy - Remembering my True Path

@elamental

Dreaming is a huge part of life, and continuously influences life on etheric scales. More often than not people cast off dreams as non-reality, and do not want to acknowledge that there are likely deeper meanings that exist correlating to their waking life. Even though sometimes it seems easier to decipher than others, the symbolism is not usually as direct with it's messages as you might think.
Throughout my life I have had several recurring dreams. These dream series' are either something to guide my life-path, or of a haunting nature, I will begin with the latter.

The Silent Shift That Is Rocking Conventional Medicine

@earthcustodians

FASTCOMPANY: Researchers at Tufts University made the case that subsidized fruits and vegetables could prevent millions of cases of chronic diseases. Perhaps it’s time for doctors to start prescribing more produce than pills. That’s, at least, what researchers argue in a new study that finds “prescriptions” for healthy foods could save more than $100 billion in healthcare costs.
EARTH CUSTODIANS: there is indeed an arising trend trying to counter the "big pharma cartel" because it also about "having a conscience" and trying to stand out despite all odds. While most scientists are enjoying their paychecks and do not look farther than what they are told to research, some are very aware and will eventually help reverse the tide.

From a slave to a master, chapter # 56 - Living in the sublime Now moment

@nomad-magus

Living in the ordinary reality, before arriving at the gate to the kingdom of love and crossing it, has taught you to handle your relationships’ problems in a certain and specific way. When you felt lonely, either before a relationship was created or right after a break-up, and you wanted hence to create for yourself a relationship, you had to project into the future. You had to get out from your normal reality, from the present, and to travel in your mind and imagination to the unformed and unclear vacuum of the future. Then, based on your personal thoughts of what would become you created the future. Or so you thought.

Natural Medicine Curation Collection #38: Plant Medicine Allies and Mindful Quietness

@naturalmedicine

With the recent rush of mindfulness that's come over NM, that topic was brought to the front of our thoughts. For me, that came with the realization that I may be a hippie. @huntergeek showed us a nice guide to mindfulness and what it is, with some simple steps to try and incorporate it into our lives. Check out their post here. They write:
You can use the 3 Breaths technique to anchor your awareness firmly in the present. It’s so easy you can do it right now as you’re reading this. Simply bring your attention to your breath – breathe in slowly and gently, following the path of your breath with your mind.

A big thank you to @hungryhustle for creating the amazing infographic of the 8 Pillars Of TribeSteemUp and For @eco-alex for creating the tribesteemup banner and logo.

How many lifetimes do I need to be able to keep up with the fabulous material in this miraculous group? I routinely joke that I need to be triplets. One life to do my work, one to cook and clean house and one to actually ... you know ... have a life!!

But when I look at this line up -- and its rich wisdom -- and how much I want to absorb it all ... I'm thinking three may no longer be enough. Five maybe.

I'll put in my order.

Thank you for including my work here @trucklife-family. I appreciate the effort -- and the company -- immensely.

I know exactly how you feel my friend, I could do with at least 6 of me these days. Your posts are always amazing @enchantedspirit xx
