When I was younger my idea of success, was what was pushed on me at school. To strive to attend uni and have a professional career, to have a good income and a large family home. It was what was expected in a way, because that was what everyone strived for. That was the example that was laid out in front of me.

Success was following the herd.

Following the current wave whilst carving a small space for myself within a world that was created for me to live in. The world that our ancestors fought for.

Success was all about moving forward, living a life of comfort and living a life that was a step up from our ancestors.

It didn’t take me long to realize that this was not the success I wanted. But still it took me a while to break away from the pressures of it all. So many ideas and opinions are heavily engrained within us all.

Success for me now, is living away from the system that tried to mold me. It is growing as much of my own food as I can manage and taking full responsibility for my own well being and health.

It is having the freedom to raise my girls as I wish and living amongst people who respect and honor the earth, through earth care and sacred celebrations.

It is about connecting with like minded people who wish to create positive change.

A big thing for me is to start my own business/project so that I can fully support myself and my girls. A project that is geared towards helping others connect with nature and thus deepening their connection to self.

In doing so, I am also deepening my own connection.

My success, is something that I want to see extend out to others. Living a life of abundance, that naturally provides abundance for all. Nature is my greatest teacher after all!

I am working on myself and breaking down the walls that I have built around myself. My success comes from and depends on me. On my readiness to see myself for who I really am. To really believe in my abilities.

Today I sat with a friend of mine, the friend whom I wish to start my new project with and I told her about how I have always placed limits on myself, limits that have stalled my success and that come from deep rooted issues with low self confidence. She seemed generally surprised, because in her eyes I have achieved a lot.

But yet underneath it all, is this feeling of unworthiness.

Within my success there is no room for such feelings, in my success I sit comfortably with my self worth and I see the true value of my achievements instead if shying away from them because I do not want to come across as too proud or big headed, I mean who wants to listen to someone sing their own praises.

But why the hell not, if we can't then who will, why wait for others to elevate you, instead elevate yourself!

Success is in the eye of the beholder, and mine is all about self acceptance and self love. My success in this will help my children achieve the same .

I have no real desire for huge wealth, my life is already full of treasures that money just can't buy.

My success is all about helping myself, so that I can help others and so the cycle continues, of living my life as natural as I can, in sync with the seasons and with myself.

To be honest my success is already happening, it is evolving all the time just as I am. It is my journey that will change and grow with time.
