Tried N Tested: Sizzix Big ShotsteemCreated with Sketch.

This is it...

I have been wanting to get this machine for a really long time but never get to it because it just too expensive to bear.

Most of the time I only manual made my cards and as age increases so are my wrists cranking up manual emboss hack.

I wouldn't be able to try this out if it was not for clearance sale; although it is still pricey for me.

But this can work for a very long time as long as I keep @craftsofluv running.

Behold - the Big Shot

I hardly do dies but I definitely fall for embossing background cards. It always makes it much classier especially when you have really nice folders.

I think @elizacheng saw it before during TSU days when I was showcasing the folders that I was deciding to get especially for special occasions, but that was years ago as far back as 2014.

But as I strive to be better I can no longer keep using white backgrounds for manual embossing hack as colours cards won't really work with the manual hack because it involves with water and it the card quality is bad, it will turn out a disaster.

So having a mid scale machine like this one does help - by ALOT

Basically the sizzix designs are always there to help make card making experience much better, and the installation is pretty simple by just screwing up the handle.

They come with pre-plates do that to cater between whether you want to do embossing or die cutting.

At the moment I don't have die cut plates so I will just go with embossing at the moment

The instructions are pretty easy. Once the folder that is sandwiched in between the plates and elevated by its guided preset plates it is just good to go. Wheeled in and out to ensure the embossing is done nicely.

And voilà!

A nice professional looking card without any distorted pigment from water smudges and all details are pressed professionally.

With the machine around this is a great time to offer card base making services to those who wished to try out base cards, and with #sf4 coming I truly hope that my service can be of good use so that I can gather enough funds to fly there with the #teammalaysia family to meet up with everyone else, in both as a community blogger in this account and as a side project crafter @craftsofluv that I have decided to kick start again and hopefully I won't "loose my steem", (pun intended) along the way.

Products and services of course can be paid by #steem as a good option to allow steem to be used beyond gaming and investment.

Verdict of this machine?

Totally worth the penny for it if you are going to use it long term.
