Why is it so hard to be an immigrant?

This is a question I have been asking to myself every day since I left my home country.

And I finally found and answer, it is so hard because it means that you have to quit everything, you have to leave your friends and your family behind just to follow your path and maybe with a little bit of luck you can get a better life. But there will always be a empty space in your heart, a space that will make you feel incomplete because every achievement you will get will be celebrated by yourself and yes, your family will be happy, but sometimes that is not enough to succeed.
