Zero SR Electric Motorcycle; pushing the limits in Taiwan

I recently bought a 2014 Zero SR Electric Motorcycle and have not been able to really get out of Taipei with it. Yes, I have gone to Yang Ming Mountain and areas around Taipei, but never a real nice trip. Then my drifter friends invited me out to go to Ping Li. Yeah, get some good use out of the bike. It is not out of the reach of the bike but following drifters through the mountains on route 5 would use up a lot of electricity. The trip is about 75km round trip from my house and the bike should do about 180km at higher than normal speeds. What the hell, let’s go for it. We all met up at Shin Dian MRT station then we would take 5 to Ping Li. I got the station and while waiting I set up the video camera. NOOOOOOO, I didn’t charge it. Now I will never forget to do it, hopefully. We took off playing chase but the SR was too powerful for them to keep up with. Especially, since we were on windy roads. Got to love its power. We got to the most beautiful clean river in the middle of nowhere. BBQ, swim, relax then swim some more. Such a great relaxing time. Stayed for about 6 hours then cleaned up and of to the race back home! Hahahahaa! Can’t wait to go out again, next time is Keelung. Can’t wait till then.
