Temple built in 700 AD

I am RYO!

I visited the temple I visited last fall again!
I will post it because I couldn't introduce the details of the temple in my last post😀

The name of the temple I visited again is Mizusawa Temple!

There is a big bell at the entrance of the temple

There is a unique "Omikuji" near the temple

Omikuji is a game to tell your luck,
And in this temple a "Shishimai" will give you a Omikuji.

Shishimai is a character born from the old tradition of Japan.
They have been used for a long time in Japan to ward off bad luck.

This here is Mizusawa temple

This temple also has a small shrine,
They are fox of god.

Buddha

The center of this temple rotates

You will rotate this central Buddha while making your wish

It's a bit heavy, but women can rotate without problems.

She is a god of cleanliness,
She is beautiful and cleans the unclean places and minds

There is a frog statue at this place

Because frogs can only live in clean water, So they have the power of clean God

And this is main temple

There is always a large number of tourists because this temple is a really popular place

The detailed history of this temple seems unknown but it was built around 700 AD!
Many of the old Japanese shrines and temples were built 1300 years ago
