Hai voglia di mangiare qualcosa di diverso per cena? O hai intenzione di fare un viaggio? Bene, come sappiamo prima di scegliere ci sono diversi fattori da considerare. Per esempio la zona dove vogliamo alloggiare o cenare, le offerte, i prezzi. Ma quello che ci induce a scegliere, alla fine dei conti, sono le opinioni delle altre persone che ci sono già state. Il classico e sempre attuale "passaparola", dove la raccomandazione la fa da padrone e condiziona la scelta di chi ha intenzione di recarsi in un ristorante o in un albergo. E su questo ci aiuta moltissimo il sito di Tripadvisor, famoso in tutto il mondo. Entrando nel sito è possibile sia visionare gli hotel intorno alla zona che ci interessa, con il loro punteggio, sia cercare ristoranti.
Devo dire che da quando uso questo sito ho cambiato letteralmente il modo di vedere e cercare le cose. Avere una scheda dedicata ad ogni ristorante (o albergo)piena zeppa di foto degli interni e degli esterni, e leggere quello che i clienti hanno detto di loro, aiuta ad avere una visione più chiara del posto in cui stai andando. Confesso che le mie ultime scelte le ho fatte proprio dopo aver dato uno sguardo a Tripadvisor.
Ma è tutto oro quello che luccica? Non sempre. Considerate sempre che la percezione che possiamo avere di un luogo, o di un servizio, può essere completamente differente da quella di qualsiasi altra persona. Ci sono persone molto esigenti, altre meno, c'è chi ha aspettative basse e quindi rimane soddisfatto e chi invece le aveva troppo alte e resta deluso. Oppure ancora possiamo trovare chi quel giorno era troppo sensibile dal punto di vista emotivo e ha percepito delle situazioni in una maniera diversa da quella realmente accaduta.
Tenendo conto di questo, come possiamo essere sicuri di usare Tripadvisor nel modo corretto? In questi anni ho imparato a fare una cosa importante: leggere. Non vedo solamente il punteggio totale del ristorante o dell'albergo, ma leggo i commenti. Inizio con quelli negativi. Cerco di capire che cosa ha spinto quella persona a parlare male del posto, e in base a quello che dice cerco di pensare se quello che lui ha considerato carente sia importante per me o se non è poi così fondamentale. Seconda cosa, guardo le fotografie per vedere quanto quelle dei clienti siano differenti da quelli che invece vengono caricati dai proprietari del posto; infine leggo le recensioni positive e poi tiro le somme. Finora, fare questo mi ha sempre aiutato a prendere le scelte giuste.
E di conseguenza, anche io poi faccio una mia recensione, posto le foto e do un voto. Così posso aiutare a mia volta chi ha bisogno di un giudizio, e cerco di essere il più obiettiva possibile così da non influenzare troppo i lettori. Spero che questo possa essere di aiuto!

And on this the Tripadvisor site, famous all over the world, helps us a lot. Entering the site you can both view the hotels around the area that interests us, and view their score, both look for restaurants.
I must say that, since I use this site, I have changed the way I see a place and look for a restaurant or a hotel. Each restaurant (or hotel) has a web page full of photos, and I can read what customers have said about them. This help other people to have a clearer view of the place they're going. I made my last choices after taking a look at Tripadvisor, and i've never wrong.
But is all that glitters is gold? Not always. We have to consider that the perception we can have of a place, or of a service, can be completely different from that of any other person. There are very demanding people, others less so, some have low expectations and therefore remain satisfied and those who have high ones and disappointed. Or we can still find who that day was too sensitive and perceived situations in a different way from the ones that actually happened.
Taking this into account, how can we be sure to use Tripadvisor in the correct way? In these years I have learned to do one important thing: to read. I do not only see the total score of the restaurant or hotel, but I read the comments. Start with the negative ones. I try to understand what pushed that person to talk badly about the place and, based on what he says, I try to think if what he considered bad is important to me or if it is not so fundamental. Secondly, I look at the photographs to see how much those of the customers are different from those that are instead loaded by the owners of the place; finally I read the positive reviews and then take stock. So far, doing this has always helped me make the right choices.
And therefore, I then do my review, i post the photos and give a vote. So I can help those who need a , and I try to be as objective as possible so as not to affect the readers too much. I hope this can help!
