Gathering material for my new post on the work of Chinese masters, I would never have thought that I would fall for such interesting material.
From which only people did not and do not make pictures, what material is not used in their works!
But fish bones ?! Indeed, for the careful owners everything goes into business: fish meat - for food, bones, scales and fins - for creativity. :)
Painting "Spring is back."
It turns out that fish bones can be the material for creating such magnificent paintings.
Raw material. :)
A resident of the Chinese city of Guangzhou, Li Hurong, is fond of an unusual kind of art. She creates pictures of fish bones. In certain circles, her work has gained immense popularity and is in great demand.
Lee Hurong creates real masterpieces, which are paintings made from the bones of various fish. For twenty years, Lee presented to the public a considerable number of beautiful panels that can be safely called works of art, experts say.
Hurong has developed and improved the technology for creating her creations over the years. The most time-consuming process is collecting material for the job, says Lee. Bones of various configurations and sizes are disinfected by Lee, soaked in a special marinade, and then chemically treated. After that, the artist begins work on creating an original drawing on the canvas. It attaches the bones to the material with ordinary glue and allows it to dry.
The master takes several months to create each painting. The artist worked on her masterpiece “Spring Returns” for about two years, involving about 100 thousand fish bones in the process. This painting is a copy of the famous work of the famous Chinese artist Yuan Jiang, who painted this masterpiece 300 years ago.
A complete collection of works by Lee Hurong is now presented in one of the museums in China.
Her compatriot Feng Da became interested in fish art unexpectedly for himself.
He studied Chinese traditional medicine all his life and did not think about art. But, once, visiting his eldest son, examining a pile of fish bones left after a festive dinner. Suddenly, for himself, he made a horse figure out of them. Grandchildren liked it so much that my grandfather had to stay away. And, having returned home, he was seriously carried away by a new hobby. Having learned about his hobby, all the neighbors and former patients bring and bring him exotic fish from the coastal provinces of China. Sometimes there are so many fish that his whole family goes on a fish diet, including three cats (the most ardent fans of his work.) :)
Not only fish bones, but also fins with scales are used. The situation is more complicated with scales; it requires a lot of preliminary preparation.
Painting of fish scales and fins.
And here are pictures of Kiev woman Elena Zhuravskaya. Absolutely your own style, and such a beauty!
It covers fish bones with pearl varnish and against the background of black velvet it looks very impressive. See for yourself.
I posted the work of only some masters. In fact, there are a lot of followers, and it is very pleasing!
Have you tried to make some crafts, paintings, if you tried, from what materials? :)
