I went hiking yesterday to Mt. Ryuso. A pretty popular hiking route in Shizuoka. Its near the city and its over 1000 meters. I cycled up to the parking and walked up to Hozumi shrine. On the way is a nice waterfall:
Then the shrine:
After the shrine are quite a lot of stairs before the main peak:
The main peak was a bit boring though:
But the next peak a few minutes further had some good views:
On the way back I saw some Japanese deer:
and went to a very old, traditional Onsen, its was only 500 yen for an hour, but it was pretty small and there is nowhere to wash yourself before you get in the bath either...
