We went here on the 30th of June. It was the last day of an exhibition I wanted to see, so that was lucky.
This museum doesn't always have great exhibitions, but when it does, its really worth your while going there.
The museum is quite convenient, only about a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku station Odakyu exit. Whereas other museums in Tokyo can be really crowded, I've never known this one to be like that at all. Its a real gem in the capital.
The exhibition was of the French painter Daubigny. I didn't really know anything about him, but this exhibition was excellent, well over 100 paintings by him and his circle, mainly of landscapes.
If your ever in Tokyo and fancy some art, this museum can be really great, have a look at the exhibition timetable on the official website.
Another plus, the museum is on the 46th floor, so you can get a good view of the Shinjuku area of Tokyo.
