I first came here 10 years ago and really enjoyed it. I've always wanted to come back, two years ago I was going to see it with a friend, but a typhoon rained it off. This year I finally got a chance again. Its not a big festival and the fireworks are not that long, but combined they make a nice evening.
There were lots of dancers dancing the Yassa dance and then some floats, which were more numerous on the Friday, but still were pretty interesting.
As the sun sets, the route goes down to the seafront, where we then went to watch the fireworks. Some of the fireworks are half in and half out of the sea, not that environmentally friendly, but I never saw that before, so it appealed to me.
All in all, an interesting festival, not huge, but if your in the area, its worth a look.
