The Old Iznik Town is an outdoor musuem

One of the things people come to Iznik to see is the Old Iznik town & the nearby Museum.

To get to Iznik Old City

There are signs in the intersection of the main roads for you to follow when you drive into the city.

Follow the Brown sign that says: Gol Kapi

That will take you to the entrance of the old city.

This little old town has its own history and today, they have renovated the entire area for tourists to explore.

These high towers are really something with all the old bricks surrounding the cone.

And on the other side, you get to see these mud houses that people still live in today.

This is really fascinating to see the old and the modern quarters mixed within the small city here.

It is fun to walk through the time tunnel.

Indoor museum.

Don't forget to stop by at the cute little indoor museum nearby.

This will take about half a day to walk through.
