This article was created by Oxfam in December 2015 yet it is still extremely pertinent today. Often when over-population is discussed the poorer countries bear the brunt of the criticism and derision. This in fact is exactly the opposite way round as this graphic and the article itself shows, it is the richer nations which are stressing our biosphere by their huge carbon footprint per person. Reducing population growth overall is important because of carrying capacity, however there are many other things to deal with at the same time.
