If you are planing to come this region by airways, Split Airport is the closest airport to Trogir. The fun fact is that, Split Airport is actually closer to Trogir than Split! :) To reach city of Trogir, you can take a public bus from the airport. It takes only 10 minutes to arrive center of lovely Trogir.

The old town is set within medieval walls on a tiny island located between the main land and Čiovo Island.

Most popular historical buildings of the city are Town hall (Gradska uprava Trogir), St Sebastian's Church, The Town Loggia and St Lawrence's Cathedral (Crkva Sv. Lovre). You can climb the tower of St Lawrence's Cathedral for price of 25 kn. (1kn is apporximately 0.14€)

The Town Loggia of Trogir was first recorded in documents of the 13th century. It served as a furnished gathering space and today local Dalmatian music groups give concerts. The St Sebastian's Church was built in 1476 as a votive church. Above this church you can see the Town Clock Tower.

Around the city walls, you can find plenty of dalmatian restaurants, bars, cafes, ice cream shops. Inside the city walls, you'll feel yourself as if you are in a labyrinth. Don't be afraid to get lost in this labyrinth. The tiny streets of the old town will take you to one of the city gates or sea side eventually. Just enjoy being lost in this lovely old city :)

Trogir is a lovely city surrounded with city walls on the central Adriatic coast of Croatia. Watching sunset near somewhere to the seaside is a must event that you should do in this city. On Ciovski Bridge and infront of the castle are our suggested spots to watch the sunset. Then, take a walk seaside of the old town, have some drinks and chill out.

If you'd like to swim in Trogir, unfortunately sea is not very clear in the center of Trogir. The best thing you can do is to take a boat and go to the Medena Beach. Every half an hour or so boats takes off to the beach and return until very late. Boat ticket is 20 Kn per person. It is a nice but short journey which It takes only 20 min to reach Medena beach.

Medena beach is one of the best alternatives since its easy to reach and sea is very clean.. By travelling with the boat, you will also find chance to see old town from the sea and take nice photos of the city.

Hint: If the beach is overcrowded, start walking through the trees, the tiny path will take you to a hidden bay. You will see just a few people in here so you can enjoy the silince and crystal clear water of the bay by yourself :)

What about under the sea? The colour of the sea is nice but I want to know about underwater...
