too early to tell I think, but it looks promising despite not being a well advertised asset already.
It's now been listed on CoinmarketCap too which may also boost interest https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/tronix/#charts

    Any news on which exchange(s) they maybe coming to and when?

    Is there a dedicated wallet other than MEW?
