My comment:
It will not be a simple thing to migrate the entire Steem ecosystem to the Tron blockchain, that's for sure. Steemit, Inc does not own the blockchain. The Tron foundation will have to negotiate with Steem witnesses about how to do it.
In theory, the Steem blockchain could hard fork into the old Steem and a Tron-based new Steem. In that case, we'd have two networks. I'm afraid the old STEEM token wouldn't be supported by too many exchanges. What will become of STM's? Or communities? Steem-Engine Tribes?
I'm also confused about this news and I created a post about that. Everyone is excited and sharing the first news where he said that they will partner. But, in the other tweet I shared he talked about ''swapping steem''. It's really strange. Swaping steem to tron ? Or what did he mean by that. Really crazy and the tag #wtf is a proper tag to use. lol

If they fork into two chains - similar to Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, as long as I get the same amount of money on both chains, hence doubling my stash, I'll be cool with it :). I will sell the Tron one and buy more classic Steem.

The classic Steem chain might get delisted by exchanges. Then it would become worthless.

1 thing for sure is that smt's are going to be on steem-chain since people have been testing them and would have surely noticed if those things would have not happened on steem test-chain.
