Tropical countries in the region of South East Asia are considered as paradise of numerous tropical fruits you couldn't find in 4 season countries. There are large number of amazing fruits you might never knew before. Some of those fruits are considered to be siblings to others since they look the same for some people. The following article simply describe 3 of gorgeous twin fruits.
- Jack Fruit
Many people on the earth might know this fruit, it is sweet and fragrant yellow fruit. In Indonesia specially, people usually mix this fruit in sweet soup, coconut milk soup and as essence for several traditional cuisine. Jack fruit is usually called "Nangka" in Indonesia and it has a sibling named "Cempedak".
This "Cempedak" might look the same as Nangka for some people, but if you examine closer, you find the difference. Cempedak's peel can be easily removed, less sticky and tastes sweeter than Nangka. Local people usually eat them directly without cooking, fried cempedak would be the ultimate way to serve. - Blewah and Melon
Melonand Blewah look just the same, the only difference they have is that blewah has vertical green line on the outside, while melon hasn't. When you cut them,you will see exact looking inside. However, melon is sweeter in taste while blewah tend to have plane taste.

- Langsat and Duku
The following two kinds of fruits could be more strange for you people. Unlike Jack fruit and Melon where many people could recognize theme asily, Duku and Langsat are hard to find in western countries.
Even though they look just the same, but each of them has unique taste, Most langsat is sour while Duku is sweet. Langsat has thin peel but Duku has thicker peel. Duku usually bigger about twice than langsat.
