hello everyone!

This is the sixth TRUE OR FALSE and this time we will talk about:

your brain is more active when sleeping than when you are watching tv.

First of all i want to say that i had to do a lot of research on this one.
After all the research i did it the outcome is still inconclusive.

The difference is not all that big, you use some ofthe same parts of your brains (the instinctive, primitive and the hind and forebrain).
This means the places where the brain is active will not vary that much.
After finding that out, i went to try and find out during wich of the activities the brain worked harder

Here is where it got tricky.
Some stages of sleep are very similair to watching tv (brain activity wise )at some moments there is even more of it, at those particular moments you would say it is TRUE.
There also are some stages during your sleep in wich your brainactivity skyrockets, and at this particular moments you would say it is FALSE.

There is ofcourse the big difference that while you sleep your body rests and repairs itself and it won't do this while you are watching tv.

I am sorry that i couldn't be more conclusive but i really liked this topic and really wanted to do a story about this,

thanks for reading i hope you enjoyed.

as promised i will post my sources in a comment.

Yes, true, agreed, because our brains have to organize memories and put them to long-term memory and that is why we dream.
