Over the last couple of days, we have seen this soap opera unfold with Trump in the center. We heard that he had planned on attacking Iran after Iran shot down a multi-million dollar drone in their air space. Well, here is the soap opera aspect to the story, Trump apparently reached out to Iran and asked permission to bomb a target of their choosing. What???
If you are going to bomb a country you want the element of surprise. So calling and asking "May I please bomb your country? You can pick the target?" You are like Oliver in Oliver Twist asking, "Please sir, may I have another bowl of soup?" Seriously! This whole situation is utterly stupid. You don't ask a leader to bomb their country. This is unheard of. Do you think Hitler would have asked Stalin if he could invade Russia? No! Stalin probably would have told him to wait till winter. Seeing winter in Russia is different than winter in Germany.
Of course, the Trump administration has released a rebuttal to this. Saying it is bs. Not that nice either. I have never in my 20 plus years of voting seen such a foul language administration. I was raised that the office of President is an important place to work. You should be well mannered and even-tempered. Don't fly off the handle and start swearing. And never ever go after the children in the White House. They were off-limits to the journalist. There was an unwritten agreement with the journalist and the sitting president. Say what you will about him, don't go after his kids and/or grandkids. We have fallen so far from this element of class, I am not sure we can ever get there again.
I will never tolerate and attacks on Barren Trump here. He's just a kid and didn't ask for this three-ring freak show his father dragged him into. I can't emphasize that enough. I am not including Trump's grown kids because they are from the early twenties up to late thirties. However, the grandkids are also off-limits here. Let's bring back that element of class which prevented people from attacking the children of Presidents.
