I wrote this almost 10 years ago as part of a pen and paper role playing game called D20 Modern. It's almost creepy now.

United Subsidiaries of America

The year is 2034 and Eric Trump is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the United Subsidiaries of America (USA). After a controversial Presidential election in 2016, Donald Trump remained in office for the remainder of his life. In the early years of Trump leadership, the world watched in awe as the struggling United States of America transformed into a financial world leader. Macro-economic debts were remunerated, and American corporations strived once again. Before long, Donald Trump became known worldwide as the savior of America.

With the nation and the world enthralled, Trump was able to convince the majority of the people in America that the nation’s political organization should be re-structured. The constitution was abandoned, and replaced with a series of corporate-centric policies. The name of the nation itself changed to United Subsidiaries of America, and Donald Trump was named CEO of the USA, abandoning previous political titles.

With seemingly unlimited finances, the American military (known as Corporate Security, or CS) became renowned as the military leader of the world. Bolstered by technological advances from America’s ally, India; the CS has remained the most powerful military organization in the world.

Under the corporate leadership of Donald Trump, the USA grew in size as well as power for many years. Thanks to advances in medicine, he was able to remain competent until the end, finally passing away in 2031. Before his passing, he had purchased Canada and forcefully taken over Mexico. The entire time, cutting off ties to other countries and making USA completely self-sufficient. These events, combined with the overwhelming capitalist nature of the new nation, drove most other countries and political factions to resent or utterly despise the USA.

As the USA withdrew into itself, major political changes occurred around the globe. North Korea took over South Korea in a short but bloody war known as the Korean Occupation. New factions arose in the Middle East that seized most of that region, and Many Asian countries united to form the New Indian Empire (NIE), a technological world leader. Amid the turmoil of this worldwide transformation many nuclear wastelands came to be, as the result of territorial disputes.
