Thank you for this post. I want to share what the bible says on this subject. The Legislators need to read their bible. They say walls are immoral, and not in keeping with who the U.S. is. Their focus is not on serving the people but on impeaching President Trump.

The bible says in Revelation, John is in vision: "And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountian and shewed me tha the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God...and had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates. , and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Rev: 21:10,12,13. God has a great wall. Why does God have a Great Wall in the New Jerusalem? Because everyone cannot enter. Rev: 21: 27: "And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie; but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life;"

Walls are not immoral. God, our Creator, is all knowing, and all loving. But His great City will have walls. Walls have a clear purpose. I really do think the people need to speak loudly because our legislators have forgotten that they are there to serve the citizens of the United States.
