The whole point of this project is he's planning on replacing all the grown-ups that would tell him he can't do these things with loyal fascists who don't care.
If we learned anything from January 6th it is that these things get into very dangerous territory if those key roles are filled with goons who don't care about what the law says.
I don't particularly want to test his sincerity and the strength of our system given the enormous stakes. Even "failures" in this regard would be catastrophic.
