Trump wants a military parade to show "his respect and fondness" for our military. Query: was that respect ever shown by his attendance at any such parade when he was not President? In 1991, the last such parade, honoring the Gulf War end, was not attended by Citizen Trump. Nor had Citizen Trump attended a myriad of like events honoring the military pre 2017. Perhaps his bone spurs prevented his attendance as it did his service during Viet Nam. Objectively speaking, is this not just another venue for Trump self aggrandizement?
