For the record, I think the MAGA people are actually closer to the truth on the indictments than the anti-MAGA TDS types.
These are primarily political prosecutions. Most of these charges wouldn't have been brought against a different ex-President similarly situated. Many, if they weren't motivated by political bias, would have been brought earlier or not at all.
But feeling like someone is being wronged isn't really a great reason for wanting them to be President.
The MAGA argument is something along the lines of "if they're so desperately trying these dirty tricks, they must see him as a threat to their corrupt system and it's proof that he'll do something about it". But that's like forgetting he actually was President already. He staffed all his spots with swamp creatures, acted basically the same as any other modern President outside of worse tweets, and changed nothing.
What set him apart was the things he said, not the things he did. Like... There's some good and some bad under him, but he definitely didn't do or even attempt anything like what his supporters seem to think, nor did he do what his opponents feared.
