Truth and slavery? - Property

I've been really reading, and doing a lot of research on the truth in general. It seems like we are always being told something, but never really understanding the truth or the gravity of the situation. Why is this? Why are we as a people not informed?

Some could argue that its merely the fact that if we do not know the truth, we are vulnerable, and if we are vulnerable than we are easier to control. Humans have this problem. We seek self preservation. We naturally as humans try to avoid issues or problems. This is sort of backwards from what we've been done tho.

Are we a people of fear? Are we a people who can easily be controlled with government screaming and threatening us. Our complete and total compliance? Where have we allowed ourselves to be taken? Who is to blame? Maybe our parents are to blame. Maybe our grandparents. But this has been a pretty big downward trend for quite some time. It's not just here in the United States, but its like this all over isn't it?

Pursuit of happiness? What does this mean? It use to mean being able to purchase land, and a home. Sadly now you only rent your home, or your land. You will perpetually never own it. You can never pass it down to your children... What does it mean to "own" land, or to "own" a house, or property? It use to mean complete freedom. Now if you do not pay your property taxes, the county comes in and steals it with all of your belongings. Transfer to your children when you die... estate taxes are usually not affordable, and your children end up loosing the house to the government free and clear.

We fight against the rich, and most people will concur that rich should be stolen from more than the poor man, or the medium income family. But these "laws" we pass to steal from the rich, hurt everybody.

It is social acceptable to tax the rich on estate tax @ 50%, but even medium income, and low income families have to pay this tax. One thing that I can confirm, it is A LOT easier for the rich to pay that 50%, but in most cases it is not easy for low/medium income to pay for this.

This is literally one form of modern day slavery. Generation after generation, we need to pass our wealth down to our children, and sometimes currency is wealth, and sometimes things we've collected, or knowledge we've collected is wealth. I will often lay away in bed, after I had this one nightmare. In this nightmare, I am a grandpa, and I've got my little grandchild sitting on my lap. She looks up at me, and she says, "Grandma, what was freedom like?". At this point I wake up.

See the fact of the matter is, I've never truly known freedom. But 1982, my parents, and grandparents, and even great grandparents allowed the government to take our freedoms, to license our liberty... Why? Because of fear. They wanted security. But they never got security, they got slavery, we may only act by permission.

This is morally unacceptable.
