Words are weapons

Speaking truth.. sometimes is needed other times it’s harmful. Words are weapons, so when we speak truth it has to come out in a way that is beneficial to others... our duty is to use our speech responsibly and never to abuse our roles as our brothers/sisters keepers. Truth is good but it can also hurt people in the wrong scenarios... silence is also a vital weapon in our arsenal... before you speak, consider the long-term implications of what you are saying. Those who make it the furthest in life look at life through the longest possible lens. Sure you can say whatever you want, but is that the best way to go about life? Or is reserving our speech for long-most vital times more effective?

Many know the power of words, but few actually put them into practice. Look how powerful your favorite song is, or your favorite book... these are words that have changed you. At the end of the day, action will generally always be more valuable, but backing action up with correct speech is very important... speaking ill of others, is really not necessary in most instances. It really only perpetuates a sense of anger or spite in many cases. Silence about others faults is advised because many times everyone already knows of their faults and you telling them about them won’t really help the situation. Nor will telling the world at large.

This concept can be meaningfully translated into politics, where the masses objectify their hate via leaders or politicians. Even if these people are questionable/evil, putting more anger or dismay into the cosmos likely won’t do much to stem the tide of their actions. Hate doesn’t conquer hate. Action or focusing on what can be done will help much more...

talking about bad people is a lesson in futility... that’s like yelling at a turd for being a turd... instead of flush the lever you sit and berate it... or worse, you get an odd form of pleasure from watching it circle the drain. Why do people engage in this behavior? Perhaps it makes them feel better about life or gives them a distraction from doing what they can to change their own lives...? you won’t change the evil people in the world through this manner.

Evil can only be taught a better way. If you play their games, of course, you will lose... because that deck has been stacked against you from the beginning and has been used to distract you from the positive happening in your own life... believe in yourself and the good forces of the universe and the positive forces of the universe will believe in you.
