Scriptures on faith: Once your lives have been purified by obeying the truth, resulting in a sincere love

When we obey the truth we love each other with a pure heart, that is, true love is born from the truth, this is what the Apostle Peter explains to us in his first letter: "Once your lives have been purified by obeying the truth, resulting in a sincere love for all your fellow believers, love one another eagerly, from a pure heart." 1 Peter 1:22.

Growing spiritually means living in the truth, that is, being precise and exact: "But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.", John 3:21.
In the bible there are many cases of precision and accuracy: When David beats Goliath (1 Samuel 17) with a rock thrown by a rubber band David has little chance of victory against a well-armed warrior, David only has a throw or two but he is precise and exact and wins. David gains victory through the gift of fear of God (constancy, firmness).
King Solomon finds the truth through the gift of counsel (listen, that is perceive with attention, meditate with intuition and inspiration, decide with creativity and discernment), in the case of the two prostitutes (1 Kings 3:16-28).
When we live the spiritual gifts we are progressive (way), we are precise and accurate (condition of truth) and also we increase life, Jesus said: "I am the way, and the truth and the life", John 14:6. Way, truth and life are the characteristics of the good. When we live the spiritual gifts we live ethically because all the spiritual gifts are good by definition, the spiritual gifts are perfections.
The truth is purifying because it illuminates reason and keeps us away from heresies (teaching of error), the truth is the only way to the love of God, the love projected towards the whole creation of God. The truth moves us towards the new birth, the birth of the spirit and it is through this birth that we understand the love of God. : "Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to Spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ´You must be born again´", John 3:6-7.
