Begotten of Truth

We are born in Christ Jesus by the will of God. This is a glorious privilege, that the Almighty made us His children willingly through Christ. We were without the presence of God and truth was far from us.

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. — James 1:18 (KJV).

But God brought us forth, using the word of truth. This word of truth is the gospel. The good news that a Saviour has come to deliver everyone that is lost in ignorance and sin. The good news that man has ceased from work and receive the grace to excel in victory. The good news that there's an end to poverty, sickness, frustrations and sin, for Christ has nailed all on His cross. The good news that in Christ, we are complete.

We are the first fruits in the family of God. We are highly overwhelmed with the power of God. Never think you are the last, for in Christ Jesus you are the first. Never allow the word of truth depart from you. Guide it jealously in your spirit. That word from God is all you need to stay focused.

Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for your word in our spirit. Please help us to be strengthened more in the word of your truth, in Jesus's name. Amen. Shalom.
