US Military Burning PFAS Chemicals

"...exposure to trace amounts of these “forever chemicals” is strongly linked to a host of cancers, developmental disorders, immune dysfunction, and infertility."

These kinds of stories tend to go unnoticed, or at best they cause some outrage, but are soon forgotten as they're overshadowed by the next big headline. But they're as important as they are constant. With the hundreds of millions of dollars donated each year to fund cancer research, we see virtually zero focus on preventing or regulating our exposure to toxic chemicals known to cause cancer. While we may not have a choice in the air we breathe, we do have a choice in the products we choose to use in our homes.
