I'm New But..... Anyone remember Tsu?

I'm not technically minded enough to understand how this or any other crypto culture works.
But I jumped in on it because of hearing about it on Jeff Berwick's and Luke Rudkowski's youtube channels.
I was never a Reddit user so I really don't know much about that format either.
But I also jumped in on Tsu a little over a year ago. Anybody remember, or even hear of, Tsu?
It was designed to be the anti-facebook and pay users cash for likes and shares or something like that.
It was a BEAST of competition!!! There was no "social" to it! That was all beat out by trying to make money from nothing!
So..... Like I said, I'm giving this a try because of Jeff and Luke. This would be an interesting way to supplement my eventual van life on the road.
I do write good stuff if its the stuff you're interested in.
I'll have to see how much effort I want to put into this.
Oh, BTW.... Tsu closed up shop just last week!!!
LMFAO!!!!!
Yeah......

I do remember Tsu, it quickly descended into share trains, and spam.

The model was very different to Steem, since it relied on advertising for its money, and was centralized.

I was on Tsu and it could be fun. I made a lot of friends there and they were what kept me coming back. I was only making a few dollars per week that wouldn't change my life. I avoided those who were just trying to make money. It's a shame it shut as it had a lot of potential and was already benefiting a lot of charities. I did take out $200 and gave away about as much.

Steemit is a bit different, but I hope to have fun here too. If I make money it's a bonus.
