Hi, guys. I rarely share and write about something I found on youtube, but this story inspired me so much I had to do it. Incredible story. I still tear up every time I watch this video. Simply amazing. I don't think I ever saw a video and a story such as this one. Trust me guys, it is a must watch.

Sir Nicholas Winton. I think we should all remember his name. He saved 669 children by himself. Let me say it again, 669 children. Which means he saved 669 future families. So in actuality, he did not save "only" 669 children, but we need to add the children of the people he saved, and their children's, children, and so forth. The number is only going to grow as the year's pass. I bet it is double by now.

I don't think there is medal or recognition which would be enough of the reward for this guy. But, in the end, he got the best "reward" he can possibly get. I mean the moment when the host of the show says all the people who owe their Nicholas Winton to stand up. He did it know what he is in for when he turned around. I am actually tearing up just writing about it. Can you imagine how he felt when he turned around? All those people coming to thank him personally. Simply an incredible feeling just watching. I can't even imagine how he felt.

I mean this amazing person would probably be executed if the Nazi ever found out what he was doing. So, under the threat of his own death, he was saving these children one by one. The most incredible thing of all he did not say anything to anybody for so many years. I mean we would probably would not even find out about this story unless his wife gave the documents about it to the TV show. It makes me wonder how many of stories of true heroism we are never gonna know about?

I am so inspired by this story. We should all learn a big lesson from this. One person can make a difference. One man can make a HUGE difference. Life and death of 669 children kind of difference. No matter how terrible happen in war, there are such an incredible, and inspiring stories such as Nicholas Winton story. This story should be the encouragement to every single one of us.

"We can make a difference.WE CAN.

I hope this story inspired you as much as it inspired me. Please let me know what you guys think about this story?

See you guys in the comment section. Have an amazing and inspired day all. :)

Amazing find, @awakentolife!
Most touchy is his selflessness and complete get away from any self-promotion by hiding this fact even from his wife. What a remarkable personality worth of every admiration, especially in nowadays when everyone is craving for all sorts of self-promotion, even the most stupid and totally unworthy ones.

Thank you, Ana.

Just all round story which restores faith in humanity. Every time I watch the video I get goosebumps when all the people in the audience stand up. Such an inspirational person. I hope they make a movie about him some day. Just incredible. :)

I remembered this story. It was really touching when he realised the children he saved and were still alive and well set right next to him. The overwhelming emotions was so precious.
It is good to remind humanity that every small act of kindness could save a person's life.

I think all his life made sense when he turned around. Saving so many people. He was born to save those people. Amazing story. :)

The story of what he did is quite amazing. His daughter wrote his biography, and I would like to read it.

This is one of the most amazing stories I have ever read about. Incredible. When he stood up and turned around and saw all those people he saved. Simply amazing. :) I would love to read it too. Will google it.

Thank you for commenting :)

And to think that he has outlived so many of the children he saved. He's 105!

He actually did. Probably many of them. He died July 1, 2015, as a 106 -year -old man. Incredible man. :)

Hm! I though he was still alive, and 105 this year. Will need to check that out again! Well, looks like I was mistaken. You are right. He died in 1015 at 106!

Well, he lived a long life and what an amazing life. I mean he changed 669 lives, plus all the generations of people coming from those people. Incredible. God bless his soul. :)

We need more people like him in today's world. I am sure there are many, and we will learn about them through their children and families too!

I could not agree more. I hope I learn more about stories such as this one. It is inspirational :)

God bless his Soul Durko.........he is one of the kind 🌸💖🌸

The crazy thing is we would not know about him if his wife did not find the notes. Incredible story. I do always wonder how many people are out there, never spoken off, but did similar things as Winton. I was so inspired by the story. Not sure if you can feel it in my writing.

Thank you for commenting my amazing friend. I hope you had an amazing Sunday. :)

My pleasure Durko, rsd & upv too............even if we don't know about these human angels, because that's what they are, the Universe knows and the beings saved whether human or animals knows too 💖
