Norn is the lesser of the 12 houses in planet Lyronica. They are the 12th because they lose pretty much all their fights; the black and blue ironfangs (some sort of giant wolf crossbred with a sabertooth) stand no chance against the other beasts from the other houses.
Each house gets a reputation based on the number of fights they win and because the House of Norn has no chance against the others, they decide to contact Haviland Tuff so he delivers them a new incredible beast.
These beasts fight in the Steel Arena that hosts up to 30k people and it's a sort of Coliseum in Lyronica where every house gets their share of Standard units (space money) depending on the fights they win.
