"KARUKHAAN NI MANG JUAN"





Sa buhay kong hamak
Salat at dukha sa harap
Alipin ng kahirapan
Sundalo ng katatagan



Aba man ng lipunan
May silbi parin sa bayan
Mamayang munti'y hamak
Di kailanman matitinag



Itakwil man ng mayayaman
Taas noo parin sa lipunan
Hamak man sa paningin
Dignidad buo parin



Wala mang makain
Katataga'y dapat marapatin
Pagkat di bibitiw
Sa marangal na buhay na giliw



Sinimpan ay kabutihan
Sa kabila ng kasalatan
Nakikibaka sa pag-asa
Aahon din at giginhawa



Di bale ng gutom
'Wag lang ganid
Di bale ng uhaw
Di naman halimaw



Said man ang kakayahan
Sagad naman ang kabutihan
Marumi man sa lipunan
Walang dungis naman ang kalooban



Hangad ko'y habag sa mga may awa
Na marapat ding tunghan
Munti naming tanawin
Yaring buhay na hiram
Na pagdaka'y mapaparam
