In recent years, we have seen that one of the most important and most followed media, music, has suffered a lot due to piracy, top manta and other irregularities that have made artists lose not only money but also profits. This is a pity since music is a common language among everyone and it is still a way of expression.

Even so, recent clinical studies have been done to use music to help cure, palliate, or make less painful some illnesses, which gives even more credibility to music and gives it more power. But what is the problem? That despite all this, music is still one of the least monetized forms of media compared to photos, text, and video, which leaves independent music artists at a great disadvantage in the marketplace.

That's why a new project called Tune.fm (https://tune.fm/) was born with the aim of putting music and artists back on the right level through blockchain technology and NFTs.

As you already know who have been reading my articles, blockchain technology is the 4th technological revolution that brings decentralization, security, and speed, mainly starred by cryptocurrencies because it is the technology with which they have been created and work on it. In addition, now have been born the non-fungible tokens (NFT), which are giving a lot of play and are being seen to have not only many utilities, but many advantages as well. So Tune.fm intends to take advantage of this and wants to take advantage of all this to improve the music industry.

Going into more detail, Tune.fm (https://tune.fm/) is a tokenized music marketplace for music NFTs, micropayments of streaming royalties and live social audio experiences for artists to profit directly from their fans. As I said before, the main goal is to create this marketplace in an independent and decentralized way through blockchain technology, so that artists not only collaborate with each other but also with their fans, sharing their music and connecting directly with their fans. The idea within the Tune.fm ecosystem is that for every second that an artist's content is listened to by their fans, they will automatically receive tokens, i.e. they will be rewarded.

Tune.fm is based on a core audio technology where users can seamlessly upload and stream lossless high-fidelity music from massive uncompressed audio files. As a music fan and listener, the user has access to all the social tools to interact directly with their favorite artists.

Beyond the platform dedicated to the users, there is also an important technological asset behind it by which the audio files can be played. Thus, the platform is supported by an artificial intelligence algorithm that classifies the musical trends from around the world according to their tastes, in order to provide the best experience to its users by automatically providing them with the type of music they like. In addition, within the platform itself, the user can also filter and search for their favorite songs based on popularity, genre, location, instrument and much more.

The idea behind Tune.fm is to provide artists with the necessary tools for artists around the world to earn a living and control their destiny. To this end, they have also designed within the ecosystem a form of payment through micropayment technology in order to satisfy and guarantee the compensation of rewards per second according to the listeners. In parallel, there will also be the allocation of NFT music minting to monetize content instantly and globally as never before.

The main currency within the Tune.fm ecosystem is the ɈAM token, designed within the Hedera Hashgraph network. Thanks to the technology within Hedera Hashgraph, ɈAMtoken provides seamless global value exchange at lightning speed through real-time micropayments. All content and/or music creators will be paid in ɈAM, so when some fans listen to or watch their content, they automatically receive a reward in ɈAMas I explained above.
Thus, the ɈAMtoken is the first native audio token built on the Hedera Token service to be traded on an exchange, enabling for the first time the transmission of royalty micropayments with instant settlement. In parallel, the Hedera Token service also natively supports NFT minting for a much lower cost than NFT minting on Ethereum, so the advantage is twofold as the platform has just these two options. Tune.fm will launch its own NFT Marketplace in 2022 for artists and fans where they can mint, subhash, buy, sell, trade, etc. all kinds of music tokens for the first time ever.

To conclude, we have seen a new revolutionary project, called Tune.fm, within the music discipline, which aims to create a new way of payment for artists, which have been quite stabbed during these last years, and intends to do it through cryptocurrency technology and NFTs, launching its own Marketplace soon. It's clear that if they make a good marketing campaign and manage to attract the attention of important artists, the project is going to be a success.
So, if you like the idea and you are an artist or a superfan, this is your place for sure! You can access the beta application here (https://tune.fm/) and start your way.
