Tunisia travel ban lifted by UK government after 2 years

in tunisia •  7 years ago  (edited)

the news just came in from the uk foreign office that the travel ban that was instated after the terror attacks 2 years ago has been lifted

This is huge news for the country as the one of their big markets was coming from the UK

Will Travel companies will be scrambling now to still get flights in for this summer and do they still have contracts for the region after this time??

another effect of this lift could be that it would take the pressure of the Canary Islands, Mainland Spain and Greece who have been booming these last 2 years with the closing of Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt and Tunisia

it will be a good thing for a country heavily depending on tourism to grow and provide jobs

lets wait and see what the effect will be and hope this will affect things for the better

your opinions on this topic would interest me very much

thanks in advance
