Turtle and spider |

Once upon a time. A turtle lived inside a river. The turtle was bored of living in water. The turtle thought I should meet friends who live outside the water. Then the turtle came out of the water and started going to his friend the spider's house. After reaching the spider's house, the turtle said hello to the spider and asked, "What are you making, spider brother? It smells very nice." The spider said, nothing special, I am just making potato parathas. The tortoise says. Can I also eat potato parathas? Have I come from a long distance? I am very hungry. Hearing the turtle's words, the spider's mood got spoiled because the spider wanted to eat the potato parathas alone, but what to do, now that the turtle had come to the house, now the turtle would have to bear the brunt. The spider thought so. The spider used his brain and said to the turtle, don't you know that you have to wash your hands before eating food? First go to the river and wash your hands. The turtle said, Spider brother, you are fine, you fall ill by eating food with dirty hands. I'll just wash my hands and come back. The tortoise started walking towards the river. After cleaning his hands in the river, the turtle again goes to the spider's house and sees that the spider has started eating potato paratha. The spider says sorry, the parathas were getting cold so I started eating them. You also sit down, but again the spider says. Hey, your hands have become dirtier than before. Go and clean your hands thoroughly and come back. The tortoise says, Spider brother, what should I do? I have to walk with the help of hands and legs so my hands get dirty again. I don't have 8 hands like you, you can lift two hands and walk with the remaining six. And I am not as light as you. I am overweight. Because of this my hands get dirty. but never mind. I wash my hands again and come back. The tortoise started walking towards the river again. This time when the tortoise washes his hands very carefully and reaches the spider's house, he sees that the spider had eaten all the parathas. There was only one morsel left in the plate. Now the turtle gets very angry. The tortoise remains silent while keeping his anger under control. Meanwhile the spider says to the turtle, you are so late. Come, sit and eat. The tortoise says. Thanks for this delicious food. I have come back from the river after eating a lot of fish and I want you to come to my house someday so that I can also give you a treat. The spider is very happy to hear this from the turtle and one day he reaches near the river to enjoy the feast and starts waiting for the turtle. After waiting for a long time, the spider turtle starts hearing the sound.
Brother Turtle, Brother Turtle, where are you? Remember, you invited me to your house for dinner. Hearing the voice of the spider, the turtle comes out of the river and says, "Hey spider brother, you have come." I'm very pleased to meet you. Today itself I have prepared many delicious dishes. Come quickly and come inside the river. Saying this the tortoise goes to his home inside the river. The spider also tries hard to go down in the middle of the river but due to its light weight it is unable to go down and starts thinking that the turtle might have started eating. Then his eyes fall on some stones. The spider holds those stones in its hands and due to the increase in weight, goes down the river to the turtle's house.
The turtle says after seeing the spider. You took too late, where were you left? Now even the spider starts eating food, then the tortoise says brother spider, in our place food is not eaten by holding stones. You put these stones down. As soon as the spider puts the stones down, the spider's weight becomes light again and the spider comes above the water.
Now the spider had understood the whole thing, he had understood that whatever he had done to the turtle, the turtle had taken revenge for the same thing. This story teaches us that one should never show cunningness in friendship.
