The purpose of this post is to share few insights on steemlife for newbies. So lets go through it first and all those who are going through this can spare few minutes to know WHY THIS POST NOW at the end of this few topics which I wish to cover.
Some of my arguements may look absurd but all these are from my personal opinion base on the time I spend in this great platform.
FOLLOWER's COUNT DOESN'T MATTER
I have more than 2000 followers as a matter of fact, but believe me, I hardly gets an upvote from any of these followers, So the fact is that, literally there is no use of having so many followers for you. What you really need is FANS, who shall eagerly opens your post, goes through it, and give an honest assessment. Depending on the nature of your post they might resteem it toobesides up voting and commenting, then wait for your next post to appear on their feed. So the advice is Dont be crazy fro increasing the number of followers.
REGULAR/DAILY POSTINGS ARE IMMATERIAL
Even if you post extremely high quality blogs on an everyday basis, probability for getting an attention by those who matters in Steemit - Read whales- is almost zero. Believe, this is also from my personal experience in the initial period which is more or less same now, and also applicable to alli DatThirt that the minnows or whales are waiting for your post read and give you an up vote. NEVER!!
IS EASY TO POST A QUALITY BLOG
Quality Blog, steemiens used to come across the term Quality Post: What is a quality post or how one define that your blog is qualified as quality one. Confused! Dont worry, here is a thumb rule and dont tell anyone, It seems in steemit, quality means length of the article, or it depends on the time that will take scrolling button to reach the end. Like some of my university professors evaluate the essays just by reading introduction and conclusion, it feel like in steemit too the length of the blog determines the quality of it. Sound unusual, is it, but it works most likely.
BEGGING IS BAD, IN REAL LIFE AND IN STEEMIT TOO.
Never ever try to make a request to do up vote on your post to anyone. especially like I upvoted you, you do too. No one in the steemit would take it seriously instead your personal value would be going to down. Maybe this vote for vote policy may works for contests and challenges, but the fact remains that the number of votes for your blog may shows a higher value but the digit left to the dollar sign will always beinfractions, then what gain you have. Simply saying you would never going to reach a top position with this, so better Never practice it.
TRYING A BACK DOOR ENTRY IS ALWAYS INJURIOUS TO REPUTATION.
Do you have a habit of or do you ever plan for copying the link of your latest post and paste it in the comment section of unknown people along with a request to check it and vote it? Do you ever expect they will open it and up vote it. For your information it NEVER EVER Works in that way and the technical word for the same insteemitis SPAMMING. It will only going to help you in degrading your reputation, No I am not talking about the repution of your RP number but your overall image among steemiens since they gives a damn care for such unprofessional approach.
A Note: Posting such a blog was never in my list since there are better teachers than me in this great platform and also I am not sure whether it is suitable for me to touch a topic like this. But the topic for this weeks contest by @steemterminal was related to this
Write your own tutorial about how to do something on Steem or Discord, something others might enjoy learning
So I really wanted to contribute in my own way since I had been requesting similar stuffs intended for newbies to some channels for quite some time.
