Cramer said BTC could go to a million But then again he also said Bear Sterns was fine then 5 days later their stock was down 85% and they were acquired by Chase @ 2 bucks a share. I used to love watching his show. Good post!!!

To be fair, had he got the call right, that would mean he had more advanced knowledge that was not publicly available at the time, such as understanding that the entire underbelly of the whole banking system was going to implode.
But I learned a long time ago not to watch his show. The pressures of that show which leans toward entertainment, cost him some of his perspective and objectivity.
If you follow his book Real Money, there were numerous times I saw him breaking his rules on his show. Sometimes, he would even make a later show, saying he broke his rule and it cost him. So I stick to the principles and rules, not so much every word he says.
He made a lot of good calls too, such as "get out" before the '08 crash, making a special appearance off his show just to give the advice. Very ballsy and he turned out right.
After that vid, market crashed the following day, and continued down another 30-40% in the months that followed.

Great tutorial and some very sound advice. This is a great long term strategy and helps keep you out of trouble. I was taught to sell 10% at a time so you'll incrementally sell on the way up and on the way back down to catch some of the top, but that's easier said than done.
Being able to identify bottoms to add to your positions is maybe one of the hardest and most important skills to attain in investing and comes with experience and a deep understanding or your asset & the market.
