I tried open d for a day, it's really nice to play in it. my friends often use dropped d for their dgent style guitar playing.

I used to close my eyes and hope my hearing would improve so I could tune the guitar better and it did help a little :P Anyways great tip and lovely sounds with the open D tuning :)

I stopped playing years ago but I do really miss it and really want to start again. DTube and DSound might just give me the push I needed :P
