No, that would be like suing a newspaper who posted torrent links and hashes to download free movies and tv shows... and yes, the newspaper could be sued in that case.
Steemit has a lot of money here. Watch how fast greedy lawyers are going to show up here wanting to grab some of it in a huge lawsuit that will shut this site down and make steemit worthless. Even if they lose in court, these film companies could get an injunction and suck the life out of the steemit founders by pounding them with court. Don't use steemit for pirated links.
