Dispatches From Elsewhere Episode 4 "Fredwynn" Recap and Thoughts

Fredwynn takes the lead and directs us on his own unique adventure in Dispatches from Elsewhere Episode 4. It's time to start unraveling the mysteries and find out what's behind everything.

We've now had a episode from the point of view of each main character. Fredwynn has been the one pushing hardest for answers so makes sense that his story is fourth. Fredwynn is onto the lies of both Jejune and The Elsewhere Society.

We ended last week with Fredwynn appearing with a script that had all the prompts within the game. From here our team had enough of Fredwynn's craziness and decided to head home but what actually happened to Fredwynn to lead him here? You don't just go from being in a trunk to having the answer key.

Fredwynn's trunk hopping ploy, wasn't as stealthy as he had intended. Upon arriving at the Jejune Shareholder's meeting, Octavio Coleman immediately opens the trunk already knowing that Fredwynn was inside. After a brief conversation, Fredwynn is locked into a closet. Ain't no closet powerful enough to stop Fredwynn! He escapes in a few minutes and sees a mysterious exchange between Octavio and some mystery woman.

Still needing more info, Fredwynn ends up in the production room where a team was producing everything that Janice was seeing on her VR memory experience. Shame on you Jejune! This is also where he steals a few pages of the prompt book he had at the end of last week.

Even with proof, the rest of the team still doesn't really want to believe Fredwynn or go down his rabbit hole with him. Janice advises Fredwyyn to go get some sleep and everyone leaves Fredwynn behind.

The next day everyone meets back up and Fredwynn convinces them to follow him to a random house where he accosts a lady in front of her child. Now everyone is real sick of Fredwynn's BS, time for some redemption inside the memory palaces.

Inside his memory palace Fredwynn thinks he finds a clue but can't make it out and needs Janice to go inside her memory palace to read it for him. Reluctantly Janice helps after the two of them almost share a nice moment together. Inside her memory palace Janice relays the clues to Fredwynn, 3125 Spring St. We need to go back to Fishtown but, first time to get the gang back together.

It takes a little prodding but everyone heads to Fishtown and we have maybe found Clara.

The show started out a bit weird, it still a bit weird and will probably continue to be weird. Regardless I'm enjoying it so far and will be back again next week to recap more episodes!
