Friends from College (Netflix): I'm gonna give it one more episode

So I watch a lot of Netflix, some people would probably say too much. However, I think that one thing that streaming services such as Netflix has brought to the table is that they have enabled us to have a very low tolerance threshold for anything less than the best. I say this because if there is even a slight lull in what we consider to be good entertainment, he have immediate access to 10,000 other things in a library that is constantly being updated.

What encouraged me to watch this? Well the re-uniting of people you knew from college is a nice concept and something I try to do as often as possible. It is always fun because even though it has been many years it seems that the first thing anyone does when they see someone they went to school with is to immediately try to behave like you STILL ARE in college. Normally this means going out and getting horribly drunk. It is almost always a bad idea and encourages you to not try to see them again soon.

I thought this show might be like that so that appealed to me. I also saw Keegan-Michael Key in the pictures, a man who when I think about it really isn't that funny (in my opinion) outside of the skits where he plays the substitute teacher at a high school. I also saw Fred Savage and I have felt bad for that dude ever since the Wonder Years ended in 1993.

still likes young, even though he is 42 now

Now on to the bad news: This series, after 3 episodes, is rather unfunny, lacking in direction, and dare I say - annoyingly bad at times. I think i have chuckled 2 or 3 times but other than that I am just bored. I have been finding that I am very pleased that this series is only 30 minutes per episode because an hour would be too much to endure.

So, i don't want to give up on Fred Savage and crew so i am willing to give them 30 minutes more of my time before I walk away. I think this is a fair compromise. After 4 episodes i will have watched essentially a full-length film and well, i could be playing video games.

Definitely one of the most disappointing shows of last year. Likable actors playing unlikable people in situations I felt no connection to. Gave up after 3 episodes.

I'm giving them one more chance right now. 10 minutes in and nothing even remotely funny has happened

Watching a boring film that does not live up to expectation is really annoying to me , maybe the characters and actors in the film are not so funny and creative in their acting . I don't have much patience watching films that lacks direction or does not meet my expectations

this is a comedy series that tells about exploring old friendships in a comedic way among a group of friends of Harvard University in their 40s who face complex emotional relationships often intertwined with one another

A series must be fuuny at the way in order to carry along the viewers along and not to make the series to be boring

It seems more the plot for a movie than for a series. However, thanks for your review, it is good to hear opinions about series before trying to see it.

Sounds like one to skip. trailer looks good though. Maybe everything is in the trailer.
Did you watch "Someone marry Barry" yet?
