This isn't new at all ... but I've been late getting into the Mr. Robot series that originally premiered on USA Network. I came across it browsing on Amazon Prime.
And I freakin' LOVE this show.
I don't know why I never came across it or seen it.
The first season of Mr. Robot is great, especially the first episode, well written and acted. I binged and watched that entire season in 2 days.
I'm currently on season 2, and yes, its starting out slowly, but lone behold, when this scene below passed by, I noticed that Bitcoin symbol sitting on top of the Evil Corp's symbol. Looking online, I noticed that it also means E-Coin.
And of course, E-Coin being backed by big conglomeration company/bank ... kind of reminds me of today's situation, E-Coin could be alluding to Ripple, since that coin is centralized in nature due to nodes being controlled by only a select few.
I read that in future episodes late in season 2 will start going over the cryptocurrency wars and references to Bitcoin will come up more often, which is quite exciting to see Bitcoin being mentioned in mainstream TV series (The Big Bang Theory was the other show that had devoted an entire episode on Bitcoin).
Who else has seen Mr. Robot? What do you think of the show? Will it get better in season 3?
I am not a fan of many series but I agree on this one with you 👍 hopefully they keep up with the professional work. I hate series going down in quality as they attract audiences

Yeah right. West world was a sample of bad work in ending episodes of the first season. A great (very great) idea ruined by bad production (my opinion ofcourse) ☺

This show is great from the beginning. I love it. And I am really -really!- a fan of The Big Bang Theory. By the way, The Good Wife had also mentioned Bitcoin in s03e13.
