#17 TV shows: The Grimm - Monster, have you said monsters?

Long time no see!!!! I wish you all the best, to this community, and to the crypto world too!!!
Today I am going to write about a another TV Show, you probably all know: Grimm.

This american TV Show count 6 seasons, on the TV Waves from October 2011 to march 2017. That means 123 episodes of 42 minutes… If you are looking what to do in the next 3 weeks, go stream or download the six seasons.

The story you might ask… Well it takes place in Portland, and starring detective Nick Burkhardt. In the very first episodes he discover he is one of the Grimm grand grand grand son. But who are the « grimm ’s », well, it is a lineage of renown hunters where the Grimm’s brother are far closer from reality than the counts they are telling for children.
Being a police officer for years, Nick has to insure the security of his environment as a Grimm but also as a police officer. He has to serve and protect any person who happened to be victims of evils demons.
And that is very logic, he has a colleague on which he can count on, but it would not be funny if nick would not fall in friendship with one of the demons… And he does, with Eddy Monroe a Blutbad ( a man wolf kind of) And we will soon see that this « wolf » is a good man, and show that there are two sides on this « monster » world: an old fashioned one where tradition are the masterwork and another new generation of monster that just want to live in peace and harmony with everyone. And one proof of all…Eddy the wolf is… vegan.
The more the adventure goes, the more help he will receive from the woman of Monroe and/or other characters, I won’t spoil the surprises ;) You will have to watch it to know!

David Giuntoli, aka THE griiiiiiiiimm :)

Well he plays the role of Nick Burkhardt, the character who discover he is a Grimm. I have to admit, he is a very « clean » actor at the beginning of this TV Show. By clean I mean, classic style, classic play he is on his character. But I even like him more and more passing the seasons. You have to know that in one season, there are a lot of episodes, around 20 each time. And he changes, I don’t know how to explain it but he made me like this character. Great act, very precise, going to each and every possible acting state, love, anger, envy sadness… Yeah Great acting.
As for the character, he plays Nick (really Nicholas) a police investigator from Portland. He is living with Juliette (the next character I will describe) and was raised by her aunt when he was twelve. And that is when this aunt dies that everything started and he discover the real truth about his nature, a Grimm, a demon killer.
Even though he made a lot of apparition in various TV Shows and movies such as Nip and Tuck, Ghost whisperer or Grey Anatomy, he is mainly renown for this Grimm role.

Bitsie Tulloch the grimm girl Juliette

Bitsie plays the role of Nick’s girlfriend he wants to marry from the beginning of this TV Show, and you want to know a fun fact… She is in real life too!
In this TV Show, you will love her, pity her, hate her and remove her and were hate her and so on… She plays an important role and a big part of the red ribbon through out the episodes. I like the actress and she did not have a lot of experience when she began, but nevertheless had a big role in Lonelygirl15 another TV Show. She also play in The Artist a beautiful movie from Michel Hazanavicius.

Silas Weir Mitchell… The blutbad

Ahhh my favorite character! He is great in each and every aspects. I love his act, his character everything. He is funny and seem so strange in so many ways you got to love him!
He is know and renown for playing unstable and pertubated characters. I am sure you have seen him plenty of time and he is as great in each and every one of his interpretations.
You have seen him in The Patriot Rat Race Nash Bridges Cold Case, Medium, Earl Prison Break, and so on and so on…
In The Grimm, he goes a bit away from his usual mad characters and play a sensible and humouristic character. You will love him for sure!

Russell Hornsby aka Hank the trusted partner

Hank is the best friend and co worker of Nick Burkhardt. He follows in each and every investigations and it looks like they have been together for a long time before Nick realized he was a Grimm.
Russel Hornsby is a very good actor, and I am pretty sure you have seen in many many movies and TV Show. You’ll watch his face and say to yourself « I know this guy ». If so you will probably have seen him in Big Fat Liar, Meet the Parents, Stuck or Fences. I won’t even list some of the TV Show because we will be standing here till tomorrow.

In conclusion I will say that The Grimm is a pretty good TV Show. The episodes are quite similar in the way they are filmed. A murder or murders, investigation, arresting some « monster » because they appear in their real form in front of the Grimm. And it goes on and on during a few episodes. Of course it will look so during a few episodes, but the main story will slowly but surely takes over and it turns out that it is quite a good TV Show after all. It deserves some attention ;)
