Let’s go for a second TV show review. With a show much much less famous than Friends, but which deserve a special attention in my opinion: Flashforward.
source Flashforward
Flash forward is a TV show in 22 episodes lasting about 40 minutes each. It was created by Brannon Braga and David S. Goyer from the book written by Robert J. Sawyer.
You could have followed this TV show from 2009/2010 on ABC.
The story is simple: a 2 minutes and 17 second mysterious planetary black-out happens, provoking chaos all over the globe. During that short lapse of time, every single person discover thanks to a mysterious vision their own future. What happens when you do not have a vision? Imagine!
This vision changed their lives forever. Chilly thoughts…
You might think that the whole story is taking the direction of what to do after the catastrophe but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Just picture the state of earth if everyone lose consciousness for a few minutes: people in car, planes, train, whatever you are doing. Of course many casualties, and where there are casualties, there are cops. And there is your plot. What caused this blackout, a few episodes later you will realize not everyone was touched by the collapse. Why? when? Where? I will let you discover and won’t ruin all your suspense…
Concerning the actors, many very good actors are counted on this TV Show: Joseph Fiennes (the main character), John Cho (the funny guy), Courtney B Vance, Dominic Monaghan (love this guy), Peyton List (loved her in the tomorrow people, we will talk about than show on another episode :P), Sonya Walger, well a big casting of actors that played in many series/movies.
Joseph Fiennes alias Agent Mark Benford

He guides the investigation and is obviously the main character here. If you follow the show, you will notice that he gets better and better as far as the Show goes on, very good on the last episodes. In his flash forward you see him drinking, and as a recovering alcoholic, he tries to hide it to his wife, Sonya Walger.
John Cho alias Special agent Demetri Noh
source Flashforward
He had no flash forward during the blackout and fears more and more that this means he will die, but I won’t tell no more… NO SPOILS!
Sonya Walger as Dr. Benford and Mark’s wife
In her flash forward she is romantically involved with a man she never saw or met before. Let me tell you it will bring some spice between her and her husband played by Fiennes.
Christine Woods as Special Agent Janis Hawk
source Flashforward
She is used to FBI/Police roles, as she played a cop in The walking dead show. In her vision she is pregnant, but being lesbian, she has a lot of question to be answered :)
Dominic Monaghan as Dr. Simon Campos
source Flashforward
He is a quantum physics professor who does not believe in his implication on the blackout. You will rapidly see the contrary, no spoils given. I love this guy, he played so well on Lord of the rings between other roles. You will have to follow him closely on the show as its role is very important.
Well to be honest, I heard a lot of things about this TV show. Good, bad? I let you do your own opinion, but as for me it is a shame we don’t have any second season. It was stopped really quickly due to a lack of audience, BUT MAN, this show was good. I was entirely plunged into the plot, the story, the suspense, the action. I loved everything about it, and strangely to each and every person I talked about or saw this season, they loved it. The only thing is that from the beginning you know there won’t be a second season and you won’t stop telling you at each and every ****ing episode : « NO WAY », « NO WAY », « NO WAY », well yes way :(
Cheers,
Mangou
LooooL, just remembered this show. I watched the first few episodes, but lost interest after it had some strange turns in the storyline. In my memory it was a little too much mystery and it kept piling - one riddle solved resulted in two new ones.

It's evocative, smartly structured, well acted and insists that the strange ride you are about to take will be worth every minute
