Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 6 Episode 1 – Spoiler Free Review

Well, this is disappointing. The previous season was pretty amazing. Really amazing. From the start I was totally into it. This is a weaker way to start the season. Perhaps my expectations were way too high.

It appears that this season starts a year after the previous one has ended. Each agent is in a different place, but some are not.

Phil Coulson at the end of last season told the team that they need to save Fitz. I am not sure how the logic behind it works, but I do know that some of the agents are on it.

The rest of the team tries to rebuild after the loss of Coulson which is still felt. Especially now that they have a new threat to deal with. I have to say that I don't find this threat or plotline interesting at all. I prefer the search for Fitz.

This episode tried to cover a lot of ground and build a problem for the season to solve, but I am not sure if it interesting enough. For now it was just an underwhelming episode.

I give it a 6/10
