The Gifted Season 2 – Episode 15 Spoiler Free Review

Well this episode was great. I guess I am more into emotional plots rather than action, because this episode was pretty great in my opinion.

The Strucker family arc really got to me. Lauren, Reed and Andy all had difficult choices to make. To face their powers, to face their inner demons and who are they afraid to be. The episode did a great job moving their arc forward. Except Kate. She still feels like the mom with no arc. From protective mom to badass mom to self-scarifying mom, she's just a poorly written character in my opinion. Good thing the rest of her family is not.

Polaris also had some tough choices to make and she did them wonderfully. Her bond with the Frost sister and with Andy really paid off in this episode.

Eclipse got to use the cooler side of his powers, but he didn't have much to do in this episode.

Reeva's plan turned out to be more brilliant than I thought. That woman leaves nothing to chance. With each passing episode her bigger plan is revealed and it is brilliant. She has a plan to match her ambitions.

Jace is pathetic as ever. I really hope that they kill off his character.

This episode gave me the feels. It really did. It had what I was looking for in a really long time.

I give it 8.5/10
