If I were smaller than most, I would for sure. I’m much bigger than 99% of people though so just a little jiu jitsu training makes me feel very safe. The important thing is to learn to use the tools you have most effectively

Generally any grappling is going to favor the bigger person of equal skill. Jiu jitsu uses leverage & intelligence to overcome larger opponents, but if a larger person understands leverage as well, they have the advantage. Usually comes down to who is in better shape & uses their energy more efficiently. You have to keep breathing slow & controlled while rolling around. Good skill for life
