In my first Netflix series review, I talked about Daredevil , you can check that out here link. In my conversation with some Netflix fans, they asked me to watch The Punisher next saying it is much better than Daredevil entirely. I finished Daredevil and it was super good, leaving me searching for more on Netflix.

The Punisher is next on my list, and during this review, I finished all season 1 episode (only season 1 available). The Punisher looks like a continuation of Daredevil where characters like Karen Page and Wilson Fisk appeared to help the storyline. These characters are to believe in the same universe.

I have a confession though, I finished the whole season 1 in one day LOL. The full story of Frank Castle a.k.a The Punisher revealing why his family was killed? and who killed them?

No One Can Do This Character Like JON BERNTHAL

Jon Bernthal scared the sh*t out of me, he is the type of person that if you meet him on the street, just look the other way and you'll be fine.

He took law in his own hand

Jon is the heart of this show and he did it superbly like no one is better than him. His voice (scary sh*t), his actions, fighting scenes, love scenes ( I go to that in a minute) and acting should be applauded—someone please give this dude an award.

When it comes to fighting/killing scenes, he took it to the roof! you can feel the wrath and anger of Frank Castle avenging his family's death. The Punisher was never meant to be a hero, he is a villain who seeks justice with his gun, killing without remorse and that what it should be with Jon making the character as his.

One batch two batch penny and dime

You'll get that if you watched Daredevil and The Punisher

Violence, Sex and Violence Again

Spoken by Frank Castle
"I'm not gonna let you die today. Dying's easy. You're gonna learn about pain. You're gonna learn about loss. Every morning I look for 'em, Bill. I look for 'em but then I remember. It's gonna be the same for you. When you look at your ugly, mangled face, you're gonna remember what you did. You'll remember, Bill. You're gonna remember me!"
―Frank Castle to Billy Russo

I think they bought a whole load truck of a fake blood just for Jon

If you going to watch it, the first few episodes were a bit slow starting but it gets way better towards the end. I cannot stress enough how violence played a huge part in this show. Don't watch it with your kids. This is the kind of show who humbles 'The Purge' franchise if you watch it with a lot of censorship in the cinema (I know I do!).

Blood spatters, bone cracking, eyes taken out, heads slaugthered and at certain times you just need to cover your eyes because there are no shy on acts of violence and it is pretty realistic so be ready as the camera showed you multiple angle of neck being stabbed like it was important as a hell in a story.

Not safe for kids
NSFW moment is just as important as the violence in this story. Being a lonely man himself, Frank often fantasize about his moment with his wife— oh you'll get this treat. I'm not about to justify this as a reason to watch but more to giving a heads-up on what is going on here.

Amber Rose Revah Killin' It

This is the first time I saw Amber Rose Revah acting having played as a Homeland Security Agent Dinah Madani.

She is also a kickass character in the show having to act few NSFW moments with Billy Russo and a being a head-strong Agent who does her job well.

Strong View Ahead of Gun Control Debate

The show tackles the Second Amendments right for the U.S citizen on 'The right to bear arms' . I am not sure the stand of this show on this debate and I'm not discussing it either. All I want to put it out is how it relates back to the society as it was highlighted in the series thanks to the character of Lewis Wilson.

Is This The Best Netflix Original Series So Far?

You tell me. Having to watch both Daredevil and The Punisher, I kinda like Frank Castle better as his story is more down to earth and relates back to reality. What I know is I'm excited to watch the next season. After all I can finish it in one day ^_~ wink . If you are a fan of Marvel or not who can tolerate a violence movie, you take my word that the subsriber fee? it all worth it.

What’s next? I go for recommendations by the way. My pal said go for Jessics Jones and Luke Cage. I’m on it!
